Project: Cozy Entertainment Area, Bar & Fireplace

Some luxurious details included in this development including a custom steam shower with a tiled bench in the bathroom, a space dedicated for a home gym and a nice area to entertain guests and spend time with the family.

We went all out on the gorgeous custom wet bar, complete with a stunning live edge granite countertop and full height granite backsplash and a beautiful, latticed wine rack.

The aim of this entire project was to create a cozy space, and it was important that the floors did not have the “cold basement” feel. To achieve this we included the QuikTherm Insulated Warm Floor panels throughout the living area and electric floor heat under the tile in the bathroom. We also used the QuikTherm tongue & groove foam insulation panels on the foundation walls, which replaces the traditional batt & poly system and provides a radon barrier as well as thermal barrier values that exceed the National Building Code.
